Monday morning, the returns come off the truck. One six-foot table rocks on a bent leg. Another has a chipped foot on a chair. Most owners tag it for the dumpster.
That can be a $129.39 mistake. Banquet table replacement parts often cost a third of a new table or less, and a repair takes minutes. Here is where the wear shows, what the fix costs, and when to walk away from a table.
Legs, latches and chair feet take the most abuse. Those are the parts that hit floors, trucks and each other. Tabletops usually outlast them.
In a rental fleet, these five wear points tend to show up first:
Note: this list is a field rule of thumb, not Chivari failure data.
Match the leg set to the table size. The Gray Replacement Legs for 72" x 30" and 96" x 30" Banquet Rectangle Plywood Table fit those two sizes. The Gray Replacement Legs for 60" and 66" Round Plywood Table fit those two rounds.
Each set holds 2 legs, measures 36.5 inches wide by 29 inches high, and lists at $39.98. Both are steel with a gray coating and need assembly. Neither listing gives a load rating, so do not quote one to a customer.
Check the table model before you order. Browse the Banquet Table Parts collection to compare.
Latches stop rows of tables from drifting apart. The 2-Pack Table Connector Latch Sets (4 Pieces) mounts to plywood or resin tabletop edges and joins two tables into one surface. At $12.98 a pack, it is the cheapest fix in this post.
Leg extensions solve a different problem. The Plywood Table Leg Extensions raise a compatible plywood table to a 36 or 42 inch working height for cocktail service or a back bar. A set of 4 lists at $19.98.
The listing says only "compatible plywood tables," with no models named. Call to confirm fit before you buy for a whole fleet.
Start with the top. If you can still lay a level across it and the edge is intact, your table has years left. Everything under the top is a bolt-on part you can swap yourself.
Repair when the top is sound and the part is cheap. You should replace when the top is warped, split or delaminated. Buying a new table costs more, but it saves you the repeat repair.
The math is simple. A leg set is $39.98. A new 72" x 30" (6 Foot) Rectangle Plywood Folding Table is $129.39. The repair costs about 31 percent of replacement and returns the table to the line.
Caps keep bare legs off the floor. The 100 Cap Pack White Replacement Foot Cap for Plastic Folding Chair costs $58.80, or $0.59 a cap. At four legs per chair, that is $2.36 to refit a chair.
Compare that with a White Resin Folding Chair at $27.25. Refitting costs under a tenth of replacing. The listing says only "plastic folding chair," with no models named, so test one before you order 100.
For wood Chiavari chairs, the 20 Pack Metal Front Leg Bracket for Wood Chiavari Chair reinforces the leg-to-frame joint. It lists at $24.98 for 20, about $1.25 each. Browse Chair Parts for more.
Parts are cheap. Handling is where the cost hides. Dropping tables off the truck bends legs faster than any customer does. The Steel Banquet Table Cart is $299.98 and lists 10 tables of 72" x 30", so tables roll to the truck instead of being carried one at a time. See Table Carts for the rest.

A table is only as good as its weakest leg. Fix the cheap parts and keep the expensive ones in service. Browse the Banquet Table Parts collection or call for a quote on a full fleet restock.
Each set has 2 legs. A banquet table needs one set. The sets are listed for specific table sizes, so check yours.
The listing says the latches mount to plywood or resin tabletop edges. They join two tables into one continuous surface.
At $0.59 each, yes, if you rent to venues with finished floors. One pack refits 25 chairs, so you can cap a whole truckload for about the price of two new chairs.
