Wedding Venues

For wedding venues

You don't sell a room.You sell what's in it.

Chivari has furnished wedding venues since 2007. We're a family-owned manufacturer in Miami — we design and engineer commercial-grade event furniture, sell it to you at wholesale volume pricing, ship it from three warehouses, and stock the replacement parts so a chipped chair goes back into Saturday's room instead of into the dumpster.

Everything on this page is chosen for one job: surviving the flip, and photographing well from eighteen inches away.

One

Wholesale volume pricing

Volume tiers are published on every product page and step down with quantity — no quote required to see them. For a full room of 100 units or more, ask for the venue tier.

Two

Packages, or build the room

Pre-configured kits that furnish a 100-guest room in one purchase order — chairs, tables and the cart to move them. Or configure your own from 119 event packages.

Three

Client Concierge

A team that knows the finishes, the seat heights and the stack counts. Ask them about the free sample chair program — open to qualified venues — if you want the chair in your actual room, under your actual lighting, before you commit.

The five things every wedding venue owns

A reception chair, round tables, ceremony seating, rectangles for the head table and the buffet, and something to move it all on. These five are the entire furniture spine of a wedding venue — and unlike a rental house, you buy them once and live with them for a decade. Which means the cheapest option and the right option are rarely the same thing.

A venue doesn't buy furniture. It buys a decade of Saturdays.

Nothing here gets returned to a warehouse at the end of the night. It stays in your building, gets handled by your crew, and appears in every photograph a couple posts — which is why cost per warranted year is the number that matters, not cost per chair.

Opening, or refreshing

Two different problems, and they don't take the same purchase order

A new venue is buying a room from nothing and every dollar is competing with the HVAC bid. An established venue is replacing chairs that are eight years old and photographing badly, usually in the off-season, usually without closing. 100 chairs and 10 to 12 tables furnishes a 100-guest room. Everything below ships as one order.

Opening · the honest start

100 Poly Folding Chairs + Twelve 60" Heavy-Duty Rounds

The kit that lets you take bookings while the build loan is still open. Twelve 60-inch rounds carries a hundred guests at eight to ten a table. Re-chair later; the tables stay.

Opening · do it once

100 White Steel Skeleton™ Chiavari + Ten 72" Rounds + Table Cart

Ten 72-inch rounds and a hundred Chiavaris opens at the price point you actually want to compete at. Check the warranty term on the package page — it differs from the chairs bought individually.

Refresh · re-chair only

Win the tour

Stop losing bookings to the venue down the road

Couples tour three or four venues in a weekend, and by Sunday night they cannot remember which room had the better parking. They remember what the room looked like. The furniture is the only thing in your building that appears in every photograph a couple will ever take of it — and it is the one variable you can change without a permit. There are four ways to win a tour, and only two of them are any good.

Discount the room

The oldest and least creative move. It wins the booking and loses the margin — against a competitor who can match your number by Tuesday and who now has to.

Answer the inquiry

Same day. Every time. A startling share of venues let a tour request sit until Monday. This costs nothing but discipline and it wins bookings that never see a second venue.

Own a look nobody else has

A chair your competitor doesn't own is a room they cannot show. This is the cheapest real moat available to a venue, and it survives the next price war.

Move up-market

Premium seating eliminates the budget shopper and the low-end competitor in the same move, and it raises the average booking without adding a single Saturday to the calendar.

“The Chiavaris are still our most popular chairs.”

Rick Crum, Premiere Events, Austin, quoted in Rental Management, “What's the latest in chair trends?”, October 6, 2025. The same reporting notes chair construction has moved away from wood frames toward resin and steel on durability grounds.

The flip

You sell the same room twice on the same Saturday

Ceremony at four, cocktails at five, seated dinner at six-thirty. The flip is the hardest thing a wedding venue does and it is decided almost entirely by furniture: stackable chairs and folding rounds are the difference between a flip your crew can finish and a cocktail hour that runs long. Farm tables and throne chairs do not flip — they get staged, or they stay put. Every minute you take off the flip is labor you keep and a cocktail hour that doesn't run long.

Expand the invoice

Your couples are renting these from somebody else

Every dollar a couple spends on a rented dance floor, a rented stage or a rented bar is a dollar that drove past your building on somebody else's truck. These three are among the highest-margin lines a venue can add to a package — and unlike a room addition, they pay back in seasons, not decades.

Portable Dance Floors

144 options. 3mm HPL wearing surface over an engineered PVC honeycomb core, cam-locked — not taped. Four-year coverage.

Portable Stages

Also worth owning: 52 farm tables and 20 serpentine tables for head tables that photograph, 10 conversion kits that turn banquet tables you already own into farm tables, and 34 cocktail tables for the hour between.

Dress it up

The cheapest way to make one room look like four

Cushions, linens and tableware change the entire register of a room without changing a single chair — and they let your sales team quote three different looks off one inventory. A cushion in this season's color costs a fraction of re-chairing, and it is the difference between showing a couple a photograph and showing them a swatch.

Seat Cushions

86 Chiavari cushions, plus cross back, banquet and church. The 1.75" panel back is available with SlipNot™ backing so it stays put through a reception.

The question nobody asks until year eight

A rental house writes off a broken chair and moves on. You can't — you have a hundred of one finish, and the discontinued eleventh chair is the one in the corner of every photograph. When a leg bracket snaps two hundred weddings in, is there a part in a box and a paint that matches, or is the whole room suddenly mismatched?

Tell us about your room and we'll build the list

Four questions get us most of the way: what's your maximum seated guest count, do you flip ceremony to reception in the same space and how long do you have, how much storage do you actually have and where is it relative to the room, and what's the one photograph on every couple's mood board when they walk in? We'll come back with the chairs, the tables, the carts to move them and the freight — including the cases where the least expensive option on the page is the right answer.
